Currency Converter Widget for Android

Keep one useful currency pair on your home screen. The Balkan Converter widget shows the cached reference rate and its data date, opens that pair in the app, and supports a quick swap in its wider layout.

Four quick steps

Add the currency widget

Launcher labels vary slightly by Android device, but the standard home-screen flow is the same.

Prepare a pair

Open Balkan Converter, select the currencies you want, and let the latest reference rates load successfully.

Open Widgets

Touch and hold an empty part of the Android home screen, then choose Widgets.

Place it

Find Balkan Converter and drag the currency widget to a free area of your home screen.

Resize and use

Resize it to fit. Tap the card to open that pair in the app; the wider widget also shows a swap button.

What the widget shows

The card displays a reference rate for the selected pair plus a freshness label and rate date. Each widget starts with the pair most recently used in the app and then remembers its own pair.

Tapping the widget opens Balkan Converter with those currencies ready. On a medium-width widget, the swap control reverses the pair directly on the home screen.

Small or wide layout?

The compact layout keeps the rate and date visible in less space. Make the widget wider when you want the dedicated swap action alongside the rate.

Android launchers control the exact grid size, so the available resize steps can differ between phones and tablets.
